Technology is the use of scientific knowledge for practical purposes that benefit our everyday lives, as well as the industries created by humans. Mechanical technology includes the use of machines to do work, and utilizes many simple machines such as wheels, levers, pulleys, and even cogs and gears that all function together to accomplish a task.
